Brazil is one of the largest and few lime producers in the world.
With a thin peel, very juicy and very popular in the country, lime has adapted very well to our production model. For being a hard fruit species that likes half-shaded environments, it has shown great vigor in agroforestry systems when planted in association with other trees and crops.
Most of the volume produced is exported to Europe in the form of frozen integral juice and also as essential oil for the cosmetic industry.
Lime season goes from November to March.
Batches certifications may vary depending on the origin of the fruit.
