GUAVA

With high nutritional value, guava is rich in Lycopene, an antioxidant substance; calcium, which favors bone growth; and potassium, which helps balance blood pressure.

It also has wide culinary uses and is consumed in different forms such as jellies, jams, sweet and sour sauces, among others.

Guava season goes from February to April.
